Who are your sponsors?
KC- Evolve Skateboarding.

When/how did you get into skateboarding?
KC- I was about nine when I got my first board. I started skating and just kept on going.

What was your first setup and how did you get it?
KC- My first setup was a Wal-Mart board. I got it for Christmas.

What are you riding now?
KC- A Copeland’s board with Phantom trucks and blank wheels with Quickies Bearings.

How long have you been skating?
KC- About 2years.

What was the first skate video you saw?
KC- Rodney Mullen VS. Daewon Song round 1

What’s your daily routine like?
KC- Go to school, come home and chill, then go out and skate.

What skater have you always looked up to?
KC- Rodney Mullen.

Who is the first pro you ever met?
KC- Vinny Vegas.

Are you more into beanies, baseball caps?
KC- Beanies.

And what about belts, do you go with belts or shoelaces?
KC-Belts, *hey wasn’t that an interview question in another magazine?

What’s your parent’s view on skateboarding?
KC- It’s pretty good. My Mom likes it when I skateboard so she cheers me on. It keeps me out of trouble.

How many times will you try a trick before you quit?
KC- As many times as it takes.

If you get stuck trying to grind something sticky, do you wax it or just go faster?
KC- Uh…wax it up.

What basic flip trick gives you the most trouble?
KC-360 flips.

Do you prefer street skating or park skating?
KC-Street.

Which is more fun; a manual pad or a thirteen-stair handrail?
KC- Manual pad.

So do you get a lot of chicks?
KC- Hell yeah!

What is something that could discourage you from skateboarding on any given day?
KC- Sleeping too much.

What is more important; contests or video parts?
KC- Contests.

What major skateboard company do you hope to ride for one day?
KC- Girl.

So who are your skate homies?
KC- You, Sani Caliedo and basically everyone else on Evolve.

If you had $100 in your pocket what would you buy?
KC- A new complete.

Do you have any funny skating stories?
KC- Front boarding down the big rail, falling and breaking my wrist and crying. That’s funny huh?

How do you make yourself stand out in a world of so many sponsored skaters?
KC- I just skate everyday and try to land all of my tricks, and skate a lot of contests.
