9.
What's your drink of choice?
Lord Grunge: Jack Daniels, double on the rocks,
baby.
Grape-A-Don: Vagina juice - straight from the
tap. That's classy right? I drink lot's of fresh fruit
juice & over-priced bottled water.
10. My first experience with Grand Buffet was when
you guys toured with Wesley Willis (who passed away
on April 21st of this year). What was that like?
Lord Grunge: Wesley was a hero of mine, and became
a true friend. Touring with him was amazing. He taught
us a lot of shit about rock and roll - about gripping
shit on the next level. I think about him every day.
Grape-A-Don: Touring with Wesley Willis was a
joyride to the max. A fucking honor. I learned so much
about the power of music and live performance from watching
that man in action. Wes owns the crown. The fires of
double fucking hell wait for anyone that attended his
shows to fuck with him.
11. I was so impressed with you guys on that show
with Wesley, that I drove out to L.A. to see you the
next day. How much do I rule?
Lord Grunge: You fucking RULE, player. Like you
didn't know that!
Grape-A-Don: Much. We appreciate that , but we
don't like people that attend our shows without gifts
(over $20) for both of us.
12. OK, people who get band logos tattooed on their
bodies. Cool or kind of creepy?
Lord Grunge: That all depends. It could be either
one. We don't really have a logo, but I like the thought
of a fine assed female sporting a tattoo of my face
on her ass, or some ill shit like that. Or, fuck it,
a big, buff dude with a tattoo of my face on his ass.
That's rad too.
Grape-A-Don: Kind of both, like most things I
enjoy. That's why I respect them .
13. #1 band, living or dead, that you'd kill to tour
with? And why?
Lord Grunge: Wow, that's really tough man. There's
so many amazing bands I'd love to rock shows with. At
the moment, if I had my druthers I'd really wanna do
a small tour - like 6 shows or something, opening for
U2.
Grape-A-Don: Kenny Wayne Sheperd. He plays this
solo that is totally in-key with my rocket launcher
solo. I would love to play it for him live on stage.
